The weekend in Germany turned out to be a very succesful one. The qualifying set the bar high with Robert finishing as the fastest driver in the first and the second fastest in the second round. This was the first time this year that the Chevrolet team couldn’t snag the first two positions in the qualifying, a huge achivement from Polestar and Robert. Speaking with Robert saturday evening he noted:

- I am so, so happy about the qualifying. Without a doubt the best qualifying we have had this year and I am looking forward to two really competative races tomorrow.

Sundays races were also very succesful for Polestar and Robert. The first race saw Robert lose some position early in the race after a collision with Alain Menu, but make a huge return and finishing in fourth place. That makes it the best result so far this year and yet another step forward in the development of the team in this years WTCC. For the second race Robert started in 10th and gained a few positions to end up in 7th which concluded a great weekend.

- Racing is so much fun right now. The first race was a tough one but ended up really good. Now we have a lot of time to prepare and come back even stronger in September.
